Hi, I'm Jess

I LOVE helping people! I love that my friends and family call me for a chat when they’re feeling a bit down, or someone opens up to me about how they’re feeling. But this means I forget about myself sometimes and I’ve learnt (the hard way!) that if I give too much all the time, I literally run out of energy and happiness in my own life. I used to think it was selfish to say no or set boundaries on my time and energy but over the last few years I’ve discovered that actually not only is it necessary for me to stay sane, it actually means I am able to give more without burning out. I am not perfect and I do not have it all figured out but who does?! I want to share the world of yoga, mindfulness and self care so I can help others feel calmer, more grounded and re-inspired to live their best life.


Why yoga?

Just over a year ago, some friends asked me to teach them a yoga class on Houseparty (remember that?!). I decided after one 30 min class that I wanted to train as a yoga teacher. I’d been practicing yoga for years and it had truly changed my life so I knew it had the potential to help people through this difficult time. Within weeks of teaching that first class I signed up for a Yoga Teacher Training course. I am now qualified in both Vinyasa and Yin yoga and I absolutely LOVE teaching.


So why are my classes different?

My classes are less about how much you can do, and more about how it makes you feel. I use mindfulness techniques to encourage you to tune into your body and mind and learn yourself better. This has so many other amazing benefits outside of yoga.

I am so understanding of those students who feel like they aren’t strong or flexible enough for yoga because I used to feel that way! But my classes are welcoming, understanding and supportive for EVERYONE. 

What I can do for you

You're exhausted, you work too hard, you always put other people's needs before your own, you want to eat healthier but you don't know how, you don't have the energy or the knowhow of where the hell to start. Does this sound familiar?

If the answer is yes, the first thing to note is that you are definitely not alone. It's so common for us to expect too much of ourselves and never take a proper break. The good news is it's never too late to start. I guide people to feel better in both body and mind using incredible tools such as yoga, mindfulness and EFT through online classes, workshops and retreats.
